I'm in need of hope
I'm in need of hope, 2009
Painting - Acrylic on Canvas
1400 x 1600 mm
Unique
People are mandated but are now being recolonised. The 2 men are in bondage - the little blue squares symbolic of windows into the soul. The Bird of Paradise is the national symbol - a symbol of hope. When exhibited in the Grand Hall of Parliament PNG as part of the Orchid Show the painting had 5 strands of barbed wire across the foreheads.
Prices displayed on the website include New Zealand Goods and Service Tax. If officially exported through customs by you or the gallery the GST portion may be claimed back by you the purchaser.
